📋 Position Overview

We are currently hiring professional pet care providers for:
  • Daytime Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Evening Shifts: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Occasional Overnight Care: As needed
This is a part-time position with opportunity for growth within our expanding coastal company.
Services include private in-home pet visits, structured walks, enrichment, medication administration (with training), and detailed visit reports with photos. Team members are professionally trained to use our proprietary scheduling and reporting platform, Time To Pet, ensuring seamless communication and an elevated client experience.
Discretion, punctuality, and thoughtful communication are essential.

🐶 Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver attentive, high-quality in-home pet care
  • Walk dogs confidently and safely
  • Follow detailed household and care instructions precisely
  • Administer medications when required (training provided)
  • Complete polished visit reports using our software system
  • Secure homes carefully before departure
  • Represent Sitters by the Sea with warmth, discretion, and professionalism

✔️ Qualifications

  • 18+ years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Smartphone with active data plan
  • Comfortable with active, on-your-feet work
  • Availability for mornings, evenings, or flexible scheduling
  • Willingness to work peak travel weeks and select holidays
  • Ability to pass a background screening
  • Strong personal accountability and a natural affinity for animals
